One recent significant success was the joint venture between Paragon and Texas Health Resources (THR) to form TpHR, creating a dedicated resource for the analysis, organization, development and operation of specialty healthcare services and hospital joint ventures.  Unlike many smaller management companies, TpHR provides oversight in compliance and risk management, marketing, central billing, administration, accounting, information systems, strategic planning, finance and budgeting, human resources and facilitating board meetings.  These services are provided for the standard management fees charged in the industry.  We think this type of oversight and service is appropriate.
